Bios

He is a Saiyan by birth, meaning he is an alien, having been born on the Saiyan planet of Vegeta. It seems that the Saiyans were space pirates/warriors, battling first to win their own planet, then fighting for control of other planets, subsequently selling them to the highest bidder. The Saiyans were so strong they even went as far as sending babies in space-pods to underdeveloped worlds, realizing that they would be unstoppable when the babies saw the full moon, turning them into large, fierce, gorilla-type creatures. It was as one of these interplanetary-babies that Gokou arrived on earth, and was found by an old man, Gohan, who raised Gokou as his Grandson. Like all Saiyans, Gokou was wild and unmanageable, until one day he fell into a crevasse and knocked his head, causing him to forget the instructions to kill all life on the earth. Gokou was raised as if he'd been born on earth, and was a normal, happy child, but for the fact that he was uncommonly strong and had the Saiyan tail, which was responsible for their Gorilla transformations. Gokou had his tail permanently removed as a child, and as he grew he was trained by Master Roshi, a martial arts expert. He was even trained by Kame, guardian of the earth. Ironically, instead of destroying Earth, he became its protector, defeating the evil Piccolo, and then later fighting its child, also named Piccolo. Gokou married Chichi, a girl he had known from childhood, and with her had Gohan and later Goten. Life was going well for Gokou, even considering the battles with Piccolo, until his brother Radditz came to Earth..
